Bilingual School is pleased to announce that the door is now open for
registration for 2013-2012.
Kindly fill up the registration form and attach
the required official documents in order to complete the admission procedure of
your child.
I. Admission and
Registration Policy:
The student's age, must be as follows by
September 15, 2012:

Please note the following:
ó The admission
priority is given to siblings and to the children of the alumni.
ó You must fill up an
application form to register new student(s), and attach the required official
documents.
ó The personal interview and/or entrance exam
will be arranged depending on seat vacancies.
ó Passing the personal interview is a condition
to accept the child in the Kindergarten.
ó Prospective students of grades 1 to 10 must
pass the assessment in Arabic, English, and Math, to assess the student’s
ability to perform in a bilingual system like RBS.
ó A non-refundable
and not transferable
registration fee of 1000 SR must be paid as a down payment to reserve a place for
the student. (from Private Education).
ó When the student is
accepted in RBS, a To Whom It May Concern letter
stating that your child has been accepted in R.B.S. will be issued. This letter will allow you to transfer your
child’s file from his/her school to RBS.
ó It is necessary to
submit the student's file and his health file before the beginning of the
academic year.
ó The school is not
providing facilities or services for students with learning disabilities,
serious psychological problems, or any other special needs cases.
ó Based on the
instructions of the Ministry of Education, the father himself must register the
child. Exceptions to this are the death
of the father; the guardian must submit the death certificate of the father, or
the divorce of the parents; the mother must submit a copy of the court custody
order, in order to be able to register the child.
II. The RRequired Documents for Registration
1.
The original birth certificate and the immunization record,
and a photocopy of each.
2.
The student's and the father's civil IDs and a photocopy of
each.
3.
The father's original certificate of nationality and a copy
of it (for Kuwaiti students).
4. For non-Saudis students: the student's
passport, a photocopy of the page containing his/her personal information, and
a photocopy of the residency stamp.
5.
4 individual photos
for the child.
6.
The latest 2 transcripts and a copy of each to be attached
to the application form.
7. A certificate of
transfer from the student’s previous school.
This can be obtained by submitting the RBS’ To Whom It May
Concern letter to the other school.
8.
The student's health file from his/her previous
school. As for first-time-in-school
students; the health file can be obtained from the School Health Department by
submitting the “To Who It May Concern Letter” from RBS.
Note:
The registration office must receive items
7&8 before the beginning of the academic year in order to complete the
enrollment procedures of the child and to include his/her name in the class
lists. Otherwise, the student will not be officially registered in the school.
III. The
Withdrawing
Policy
The student’s withdrawal from the school
becomes official after:
1.
the father fills up a withdrawal form and state the reasons
for the withdrawal.
2.
submitting “To Whom It May Concern Letter” stating that the
student has been accepted in another school.
3.
all outstanding tuition payments or other dues are paid.
4.
returning all school books and other school properties, and
obtaining a clearance letter from the Accounting Office. This should be done
within two days from submitting the withdrawal form.
